Artificial Grass has typically been used for outdoor training areas, but with the increase in popularity of functional training and the need for equipment that reflects the many varied movements of this style of training, facility owners are starting to think about the most suitable type of flooring.
Artificial grass fits the bill perfectly – we use exactly the same type that’s used for outdoor sports pitches, so you know it’s going to be durable, it provides the right levels of grip for running and jumping, it’s great for pushing or pulling sleds across it, and with the addition of a shock pad underlay it can take on an almost ‘walking on air’ feel to it, making it suitable for plyometric work.

Where can I use artificial grass?
You can put artificial grass anywhere you like within your facility, it’s that versatile. Many opt for a long strip, anywhere from 10 to 25 metres long and 2 metres wide, but we have also done many installations where we cover a whole room – turning it into a truly multi-use environment. This gives a facility a really unique feel and sets it apart from the crowd.We can integrate a section of artificial grass with your existing floor surfaces.
Improve artificial grass performance
Sometimes we recommend using a layer of shock pad underneath the artificial grass. Our shock pad consists mainly of a recycled polyurethane foam with an open cell structure. The open cells have small holes which let the air inside escape, dissipating the energy input. This in turn improves the longevity, sound and shock absorption capabilities of the floor.

A unique product that allows you to integrate your club logo, a set of functional markings or custom distance markings into artificial grass. The logo / designs are not painted on or glued in, they are actually tufted into the grass to offer the most durable finish possible.
